A membership meeting was held on November 24 with four out of the six known members present. With a quorum of four members present, Trust business was conducted. Issues on the agenda consisted of member resolutions and Trust agreements which were approved as signed. Colorado State Fire Chiefs (CSFC) confirmed appointments of five Trustees.
Additionally, officers of the Trust were elected as follows:Chair: Don Lombardi, West Metro Fire Protection
Vice Chair: Mike Rogers, Colorado Professional Fire Fighters
Secretary: Kammy Tinney, Sable Altura Fire District
After the officers were elected, the Trust then reviewed a draft budget, appointed vendors, accepted the Actuary Report, approved the rate structure, reviewed DOLA information, and finally, determined dates for the next two meetings. The next meeting will take place on Dec. 11, 2014 and Jan. 14, 2015 at 1:30 pm at the West Metro Fire Administrative office.
